Overview

The George is a 1,500-acre Johnson Development community on FM 2977 at Koeblen Rd/Benton Rd & Ricefield Rd in Rosenberg, planned for roughly 4,000 homes with Phase 1 covering 319 homesites. It sits adjacent to Lamar CISD schools — Steenbergen Middle, Wright Jr. High, and Randle High School — with a 20-acre amenity center planned for Phase 1 and model homes opening in 2026.
